The project, make yourself, souls, child! Dedicated to the International Children’s Day
The Alef Association for Education, Culture and Development will organize, on June 1-3, 2025, the actions that are part of the extensive project, Make yourself, souls, child! Dedicated to the International Children’s Day, the program takes place in Marie Curie Hospital and in the localities Dărăști – Vlașca, Giurgiu and Teleormanu county, Teleorman county.
Over 240 children will have a day full of emotions, smiles, joy. Most of them will learn that no one is sure. Asking for help and offering is the simple but so important gesture of normality.
The Alef Association for Education, Culture and Development shows these children, and not just them, that involvement and empathy can change destinies and bring light, where it is needed.
“On their birthday, we will be with them, encouraging them to keep their joy, to know, that good and honesty do not only defeat fairy tales and stories, but also in real life, as long as they are not afraid to tell the truth, to be worthy of those who need help, they will go, they will go. Increase confidence in them, in their close ones. ” says Janina Ilie, president Association Alef for Education, Culture and Development.
240 children will receive sweets, toys, books, stationery, clothes, games. But the mission of this program is to increase the self -esteem of these children, to trust the future, in education – an essential condition for development.

The Alef Association for Education, Culture and Development will continue the collaboration with schools in Teleorman County, by equipping them with their IT equipment, organizing computer offices and equipping the school libraries.
