According to the National Institute of Public Health, between October 28 and November 3, 402 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, which represents a significant decrease compared to the previous week.

The number of new cases of COVID-19 has fallen by almost 17% in the past week. However, 6 people have died recently. At the same time, 128 people got sick again.
To date, 69,210 people diagnosed with the infection of this virus have died in Romania.
Romania has registered over 3.5 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. In the analyzed interval, a total number of 10,590 tests were performed for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of which 634 were RT-PCR tests and 9,956 rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 3.8%, representing a decrease of 0.6 percentage points compared to the previous week.
In our country, a very large number of tests were performed to detect infection with the new coronavirus: over 14 million PCR tests and over 15 million rapid tests.
