Romania is represented by 9 athletes at World Cup
Nine Romanian athletes participate in the World Athletics Championships that take place in Tokyo. Due to the time zone, some of the tests will take place at night. The first Romanian to enter the competition is Rareș Toader, at the weight of weight, on September 13, at 04:55. He is part of the group of the three boys in the Romanian group.
Beside them are six sportsmen, including Alina Rotaru-Kottmann, bronze medalist at the 2023 World Cup, in length jumping. Although it comes with an excellent result in the track record, this year’s competition is very strong, and to climb the podium again it will need an exceptional evolution.
Romania also has representatives in other disciplines, such as 400 meters, disconing the disc, triple or throwing the hammer. Beyond the participation of our athletes, Tokyo World Cup are spectacular and full of moments to follow.
