Next week, the government will approve the normative acts regarding the increase of the minimum wage to 3,700 lei from July 1 and the increase to 300 lei of the deductible amount applied to it, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on Thursday, at the Victoria Palace, at the beginning of the weekly meeting of the Cabinet , according to Agerpres.
The Prime Minister stated that a decision will be approved regarding the freezing of the fine point at the level of the current minimum wage.
Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu declared, on Wednesday, that he will discuss with the Minister of Finance, Marcel Boloș, the measure regarding the increase of the minimum wage to 3,700 lei, as well as the increase of the deductibility from 200 lei to 300 lei.
The leaders of the governing coalition reached a consensus on Monday, after the meeting organized at the Victoria Palace, and decided to increase the minimum wage for the economy to 3,700 lei, from July 1, despite previous tensions.
