Registrations for the first session of the 2024 Baccalaureate exam began today. High school students who will take the maturity tests have 5 days, more precisely until June 7, to submit the complete file.

What must be contained in the application file for the Baccalaureate in 2024
- birth certificate (original document and a copy);
- identity card (the original document and a copy);
- enrollment application (computerized form) completed, approved and stamped by the educational unit of origin/examination center;
- the original certificate/certificates, as well as a copy of it/them, on the basis of which/which the equivalence of sample C and D is requested, if applicable;
- original transcript;
- certificate issued by the educational unit confirming the completion of the 12th/13th grade and the general average.
Baccalaureate calendar from 2024
- June 17-19 – assessment of oral communication skills in Romanian, test A;
- June 19-20 – assessment of oral communication skills in the mother tongue, sample B;
- June 19-21 – evaluation of digital skills, test D;
- June 25-27 – assessment of language skills in an internationally spoken language;
- July 1 – written exam in Romanian language and literature;
- July 2 – mandatory profile test, written test;
- July 4 – the test of the choice of the profile, the written test;
- July 5 – written test in Mother Language and Literature;
- July 8 – the display of the results of the written tests until 12:00 p.m. and the submission of appeals between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.;
- July 9 – 11 – resolution of appeals;
- July 12 – posting of final results for BAC 202
- The correction of the works will be digitized. The sheets are scanned in the classroom by the teaching assistants and then uploaded to the digital platform. Papers are randomly distributed to two teachers. The final grade is also calculated in the platform and is the average of the two grades.
The results from the 2024 Baccalaureate exam simulation for 12th grade students were very poor. Almost 40% of the 12th grade students scored below 5 in Romanian language, and 35% did not score above 5 in mathematics or history.
