The sovereign is celebrating his birthday with the 'Trooping the Colour' event on 15 June. King Charles III will be accompanied by Queen Camilla, with the couple set to appear at the parade in a horse-drawn carriage.

The “Trooping the Color” parade marks every year the day of the British sovereign, even if it is not organized on his birthday. King Charles III's birthday is November 14.

Buckingham Palace has not announced which members of the royal family will be present on the balcony for the Royal Air Force flight. It is also not known if Kate Middleton will be in attendance given that she has been diagnosed with cancer, but it is believed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will definitely not be there.

A source revealed to People magazine that, for the second time in a row, the two were not invited to the monarch's birthday.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the Trooping the Color parade in both 2018 and 2019.

Typically, the Trooping the Color ceremony sees more than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians come together to mark the sovereign's birthday. This year's event will take place on Saturday, June 15.

This year's event will be a little different from previous years. Although the king will take part in the procession, he will ride in a carriage and not on horseback, given that he is undergoing treatment for cancer.
