Partial results of the 2024 elections. Who is the most voted candidate in the Capital and what is the situation in the European Parliament

According to Adevărul sources, the partial results of the votes cast until 1:00 p.m. show that Nicușor Dan and Gabriela Firea are in first place for the Capital City Hall.

According to the partial results recorded until 1:00 p.m., Nicușor Dan would have obtained 40% of the total votes cast up to that moment, Gabriela Firea 26%, Cristian Popescu Piedone 19%, and Sebastian Burduja 10%, political sources told Adevărul.

In Sector 1, George Tuță would have obtained 41% of the votes cast until 1:00 p.m., and Clotilde Armând 37%. In Sector 2, Rareş Hopincă would have 36%, and Radu Mihaiu 30%. For sectors 3 and 4, the favorites would be Robert Negoiță and Daniel Băluță, and in 5 the son of Cristian Popescu Piedone, Vlad Piedone, with 45%. Ciprian Ciucu would have 55% of the votes cast by noon, Adevărul sources say.

Regarding the European Parliament elections, according to the data recorded until 13.00, the PSD-PNL Alliance would have 46% of the votes, the AUR 19%, and the United Right Alliance 10%.

The Center for Urban and Regional Sociology (CURS), the Avangarde Socio-Behavioral Studies Group and Sodiso Research SRL are the companies that will present the exit polls on Sunday evening, according to Europa Liberă.

The schedule of polling stations on June 9, for the 2024 local and European parliamentary elections, began at 7:00 a.m. and ended at 10:00 p.m. However, the schedule can be extended until 11:59 p.m., if the president of the polling station notices that inside the polling station or in the immediate vicinity of the polling station there are still people in line who failed to vote, after these two hours the system electronic voting registration closes automatically.

According to the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP), 28.6% of Romanians cast their vote by 3 p.m.
