Baccalaureate 2024, autumn session. How to calculate the average
The 2024 Baccalaureate average is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the grades obtained in the three written tests. Good news for students who get a 5.99 average in the Baccalaureate is that it will be rounded up to 6.00, so candidates will pass the exam.
Those who did not pass in this session either have two options: to file an appeal, in the hope that when the paper is re-evaluated they will get a higher grade and, implicitly, an average above six, or to enroll in non-university tertiary education courses.
How to file appeals
After the Bac 2024 results are displayed, graduates who are not satisfied with the grades obtained can file an appeal. Candidates submitting appeals complete and sign a standard declaration stating that they are aware that the mark awarded as a result of the resolution of the appeal may change the original mark by increasing or decreasing, as appropriate.
The faculties you can enroll in without a Baccalaureate
