In a gesture of support for the candidates, ULBS decided to open a temporary office at the “Alexandru Lahovari” National College in Râmnicu Vâlcea. Thus, young people who have been admitted to one of the Sibiu faculties can submit their original files right in their city, without having to travel long distances and face heavy traffic.
“Due to the large number of candidates from the counties of Vâlcea, Argeș, Dolj, Gorj and Olt, whose files have been validated and declared admitted in the July 2024 session, “Lucian Blaga” University in Sibiu has decided to submit the original documents in order to confirm places to also take place at the Alexandru Lahovari National College in Râmnicu Vâlcea. The measure was taken to support the candidates, as a result of the difficult traffic these days, caused by the closure of the Olt Valley.
Therefore, candidates who have been declared admitted to ULBS are also expected at the Alexandru Lahovari National College from Râmnicu Vâlcea, located on 19 General Praporgescu Street”, says a press release from the educational institution.
The working hours of the temporary office are as follows:
-July 22-23: For candidates to the Faculty of Engineering
-July 25-26: For candidates to the other faculties
The office will be open between 9:00-13:00 and 15:00-19:00, and the procedure for confirming places will be ensured by the university staff.
Road traffic in the Olt Valley was closed for a month, during the day, starting on Monday, July 8, for works on the Sibiu – Pitesti highway.
