The National Road Infrastructure Administration Company announces for the weekend the temporary closure and, respectively, the restriction of traffic on the A2 Bucharest – Constanţa highway, in the area of the A2 and A0 junction, for the completion of works on Lot 1 of the Bucharest Ring Motorway.

According to a post on the Facebook page of the road company, between 27.07.2024, 23:00 – 28.07.2024, 04:00, respectively on the night from Saturday to Sunday, on the A2 highway, in the junction area road that will ensure the connection with the Bucharest Ring Motorway (km 11+700 – km 15+500), the road traffic closure measure will be instituted in both directions, simultaneously, to allow the completion of the works within the project construction of lot 1 of the Bucharest Ring Motorway (installation of portals and consoles, completion of works on the passage that over-crosses the A2 at the position of km 13+300), according to Agerpres.
During the period of the establishment of the closure measure, traffic will be carried out on the following detour routes: direction of travel Bucharest (Bvd. Theodor Pallady) – Constanţa: Bvd. Theodor Pallady – A2, road junction km 12+000 – Bucharest Ring Road – DN3, Fundulea – A2, Constanta; direction of travel Constanţa – Bucharest: A2 – road junction km 15+000 – DJ301, Cernica – Bucharest Ring Road.
“Also, in the interval between Friday, 26.07.2024, at 08:00, and Monday, 29.07.2024, at 12:00, on the sector between km 12+200 – km 14+500 the traffic restriction measure, ensuring two traffic lanes for each direction of travel. We ask drivers to respect the temporary road signs and drive at low speed to avoid the risk of road accidents and/or traffic jams”, notes CNAIR.
