Rapid and Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe ended in a tie, 2-2 (2-1), on Monday evening, in Giulesti, in a match from the fourth stage of the football Superleague.

The guests opened the scoring after only 42 seconds, through Hungarian Kevin Varga, who took advantage of the errors committed by goalkeeper Marian Aioani and defender Filip Blazek. Varga dedicated the goal to his teammate Cosmin Matei, suspended for doping.
Rapid immediately equalized (3), through the same Blazek, who sent a ball into the net from 6 meters that was stuttered by the Covasna defense when Petrila crossed from a free kick.
Sepsi OSK closed the table in min. 68, through Gabriel Debeljuh, with the head, from the dive, after Aioani rejected Marius Coman’s shot.
The speedy striker Borisav Burmaz left the injured field on a stretcher, being transported to the ambulance (53).
Rapid had the chance to get the victory, but Claudiu Micovschi’s shot (90+3) cleared the crossbar.
According to Agerpres, the head coach of Rapid, the Northern Irishman Neil Lennon, was absent from the match, he urgently returned home due to his mother’s health. Rapid was led off the bench by second baseman Ian Brunskill.
The starting shot was given by the former fast player Marian Grigore.
Rapid remains without a win after four stages, having three draws and one failure.
