The students’ vacation, which will start in February 2025, starts on different days, depending on the decision of the county school inspectorates and the Bucharest Municipality Inspectorate. Here is when the courses will end, as Minister Ligia Deca presented the situation.

Ligia Deca, the Minister of Education, announced the data sent by the school inspectorates in relation to the February 2025 holiday.
“Useful for parents: In case you haven’t been notified by the schools yet, below is the February 2025 holiday map for each county, made by my colleagues. The information regarding the February 2025 holiday was sent to us by the school inspectorates. The next school year starts on September 9, and the first term of classes ends on October 25. The other course intervals: November 4 – December 20; January 8 – February 7/14/21, depending on the holiday week chosen at county level; February 17/24/March 3 – April 17; April 28 – June 20“, the minister announced on his Facebook page.
In Bucharest, the February 2025 holiday will start on February 24 and end on February 28. Only one county in the country, Bistrita-Năsăud, announced the holiday between February 10-14. Therefore, students from Bistrita will be the first to enjoy the free days in winter.
The next spring break starts on Friday, April 18, 2025 and ends on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The summer break follows from June 21, 2025 to Sunday, September 7, 2025.
