Tragedy in the Bucegi Mountains, where a young woman with her friends slipped while trying to cross the Brâna Aeriana and fell into the void from a height of 300 meters.
The lifeless body of the tourist was recovered by mountain rescuers.
“Unfortunately, a new tragedy happened this afternoon in Bucegi. A group of 4 people intended to cross the Airlift. At the entrance to the gate, a girl slipped and fell approx. 300 m. I requested air support at POA Brașov. A mountain rescuer first retrieved, by trolling, the second girl who suffered a panic attack and could no longer move. Later, two mountain rescuers were inserted and recovered the lifeless body. The 2 boys from the group went down to the Costila Refuge, from where they were recovered by the rescuers.
