The tennis player Cezar Creţu defeated Yunchaokete Bu with 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7/4), on Friday, in the Multipurpose Hall in Craiova.

Romania leads China 1-0 in World Group II of the Davis Cup.

The second singles match on Friday will oppose Filip Cristian Jianu (234 ATP) and Yi Zhou (527 ATP), also a first.

Saturday will start with the doubles match between Victor Cornea/Bogdan Pavel and Fajing Sun/Rigele Te.
