In the third stage, the games between Odense – Buducnost 31-29, Gyor – Vipers 27-22 and Brest Bretagne Handball – Team Esbjerg 33-32 were also played.
In the first matches of group B, Rapid Bucharest defeated Buducnost, 32-27, and then drew with Vipers, score 30-30. After three stages, the Romanian vice-champion remains with 3 points, in 4th place. Brest and Gyor are in the first places, undefeated, with 6 points.
In the IV stage, Rapid will play away against Team Esbjerg, on October 6.
In group A, the CSM Bucharest and Gloria Bistriţa formations are also evolving.
The first two placed in the two groups qualify directly for the quarterfinals, and the teams in the 3rd-6th places will play in the play-off, for the other four places available in the quarterfinals, during which they will fight for the Final Four Tournament in Budapest ( 31 May – 1 June).
The holder of the trophy is the Hungarian band Gyor ETO, who won the sixth trophy in 2024.
