The management of the National Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR) stated that the works are progressing very well on the construction site of the Buzău – Focşani highway. It is desired to open the circulation this year.

Cristian Pistol, the general director of CNAIR, visited on Friday, October 4, the construction site of the Buzău – Focşani highway together with the director of SDN Buzău, Sorin Robu.
“The works are progressing very well on the construction site of the Buzău – Focşani highway! At this rate, the opening of traffic on all 4 lots (82.44 km) this year is increasingly safe”, said Cristian Pistol, on Facebook.
Also, the director of CNAIR announced that the mobilization of the UMB constructor is also very good at the bridge over the Buzău river, where formwork and plate reinforcement work is now being done.
“This bridge will be put into traffic next year and will connect with lot 3 of the Ploieşti – Buzău Highway“, the head of CNAIR also stated.

Also, Sorin Grindeanu, the Minister of Transport, stated in September that the stage of works on the 4 lots of the Buzău-Focșani section is, in total, 90%.
“At the end of October, the beginning of November, lot 1, without the bridge from Buzău, lot 2 and lot 4 will be put into circulation. Lot 3 will be completed approximately in December. And the Buzău bridge will also be completed in December. So, in December, it will be possible to drive on the 4 lots”argued Sorin Grindeanu.
This year CNAIR will reach a record budget of 18 billion lei after in 2019 it was up to 4 billion lei. On Friday, in Buzău, Cristian Pistol also participated in the 42nd annual meeting of the heads of the National Road Sections from the entire country within the CNAIR.
“I would like to thank you for being with us today at the 42nd meeting of department heads, where we discuss all maintenance and upkeep issues, both in summer and in winter. Regarding the works on the A7 highway, I can tell you that they are very advanced. If we talk about the lots from Buzău to Focşani, they will more than likely be opened this year. The builder is very well mobilized in the construction site, the works are being carried out at an alert pace, and right after I finish this meeting I will go to the construction site to see how the works are progressing. If we refer to the section from Ploieşti to Buzău, the works are also very advanced and the premises for them to be inaugurated this year are almost certain“, stated Cristian Pistol.
