The artist Diana Matei revealed in a show what salary she has in the Ministry of National Defense, where she has been working for many years.

The party music singer opened up about her salary at the Ministry of National Defence. She testified that she has been working for over 18 years and her salary can vary from month to month due to the increments she receives.
Even though he took his parents’ opinion into consideration, it was the star who ultimately chose to join the army. She stated: “I have been working in the army for 18 years. I’m employed by the Army Artistic Ensemble, I’m a civilian, I’m not a military personnel”.
The artist does not hold an administrative position within MAPN, she contributes to the organization of artistic programs and performs for officials, having an important role in the protocol events of the army. Despite the busy schedule of the Army Artistic Ensemble, the artist dedicates time to her own musical project, achieving success both on stage and at official events.
The artist explained that her income is variable, being influenced both by her current activity and by special projects. Denise Rifai asked her guest, Diana Matei, what is the monthly salary she receives in the Ministry of Defense, but she preferred not to divulge the information.
She stated: “I have to differentiate between gross and net because I have no idea. I think somewhere around 8,600 RON, something like this. And there are increases, because in the army there are small increases that… very small fluctuations. I mean, sometimes I’m 100, 200 RON less or more, but that’s about the salary.”
The singer also stated: “We sing for officials. For people who come, also delegations from abroad, official and we support artistic programs, of course with the Army Artistic Ensemble, together with all my colleagues from the ensemble and we practically participate in the protocol. We of course performing our work as artists. We sing for officials.”
Diana Matei also added that she has never won 50,000 euros in two days, as was speculated in the press. At the same time, she wanted to specify the fact that she built her long-desired house after 30 years of work.
“I’ve never won €50,000 in a weekend. I can’t even say that you can make a living from music. Diana Matei, after 30 years of work, only now moved into a house with her husband and child. A house that I dreamed of for many years and that I built with difficulty, with a lot of work. I don’t think you earn royally, but I think you earn normally from music. (…) I share the money at my house. I make the payments and absolutely everything. My husband is only interested in some gas money and the payments he has to make that day.” the artist also said.
Diana Matei is one of the most appreciated violin music artists in Romania and performs numerous concerts with Taraful Cleante. He is 43 years old and was born in Măneciu, at the foot of Ciucaș Mountain. He attended the “Dinu Lipatti” High School of Music, and then continued to study at the National University of Music.
