Mario Nuțu Balint, son of Sile Cămătaru, was caught by the police several times driving with a suspended license. In the summer he was sent to court, and on Friday he was sentenced by the judges.

The magistrates of the Constanța Court ruled on Friday, November 22, in the case in which Mario Nuțu Balint, son of Sile Cămătaru, was sent to court by the Constanta prosecutors for driving a vehicle without a driver’s license.
According to the indictment, it was established that he “on 22.07.2023, around 11.40 p.m., he drove the car …, on str. Nationalization in Constanța, having suspended the right to drive vehicles on public roads in Romania“.
In addition, investigators found that he had also consumed alcohol. “It was established that he had the right to drive vehicles suspended, which is why he was invited and driven to the headquarters of the Constanța Road Service in order to test the breathalyzer, the result being 0.11 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air“, the indictment also states.
During the judicial investigation, the defendant admitted the act.
In the end, Mario Balint received a one-year suspended sentence for the offense of driving a vehicle without a driver’s license. The application of the prison sentence was postponed for the duration of a two-year supervision period.
Community service
During the term of supervision, the defendant must comply with the following supervision measures: “to appear at the Probation Service, on the dates fixed by it; to receive the visits of the probation counselor appointed with his supervision; to announce, in advance, the change of residence and any travel that exceeds 5 days, as well as the return; to communicate the change of job; to communicate information and documents of a nature to allow the control of his means of existence”, the court decision states.
The defendant was also required to perform unpaid work for the benefit of the community, for a period of 50 working days, within the Public Domain Administration sector 5 or within the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection sector 5, Bucharest.
The decision of the Constanța Court is not final, it can be appealed.
