The casket with Duckadam’s lifeless body, deposited at the National Arena

The casket arrived at the country’s biggest stadium around 1:00 p.m., and members of Helmut Duckadam’s family, as well as some of his former football colleagues, appeared afterwards.

Not only colleagues, but also supporters who wanted to say goodbye passed by the head of the former great goalkeeper.

Helmut’s wish, expressed in his will, was for his body to be cremated.

Miodrag Belodedici also came to the National Arena. Belo brought a small pennant from the Champions Cup, 1986.

Rapid laid a wreath through President Viorel Moldovan. FRF has representatives at this emotional and painful time.

Former Olympic judo champion Alina Dumitru also came to the stadium, but a crown was also laid by tycoon Ion Țiriac.

FCSB brought the whole team, led by the official Mihai Stoica. It is the last club Duckadam worked for.
