A video is circulating on social networks in which Răzvan Lucescu (55 years old), together with his staff rush to get out of PAOK’s coach. In the chaos created, the Romanian technician slipped on the stairs.
According to the media in Greece, Răzvan and his seconds were provoked by the supporters of the hosts, who came after the game to PAOK’s coach wearing AEK shirts from 2018. Then, the championship was won by the Athenians after a monster scandal, Lucescu and the fans to PAOK considering the fact that the title was stolen from them due to refereeing mistakes.
Immediately after seeing AEK’s jersey, PAOK’s staff jumped off the bus. Sub Pantelis Konstantinidis pounced on the AEK fans. A real chaos was created on the stairs of the bus, and several members of the staff, including Răzvan Lucescu, fell. They all tumbled off the ladder, one on top of the other.
One goal canceled out by both sides
Spirits were running high during the match anyway. The two teams had one goal disallowed each, and PAOK had a man sent off at the end of the match. Moreover, Lucescu was constantly cursed by the fans of the hosts during the game.
Lucescu reproached the referee for several mistakes he allegedly committed during the game, at one point even applauding him ironically. At the end of the match, Marios Iliopoulos, the boss of AEK, forcibly entered the dressing room of PAOK, and shouted at Răzvan, according to Gazzetta.gr.
“You will never again do such things, such gestures, such indecencies in the temple of AEK. You will respect AEK fans!“, Iliopoulos allegedly said to Lucescu. The financier had been disturbed by the fact that Răzvan would have provoked the home fans during the match with his gestures.
