Florin Dumitrescu, the MasterChef juror, won the trial with Antena 1, and the decision is final.

The trust patronized by Dan Voiculescu took Dumitrescu to court, forbidding him to appear on another television after he resigned from Chefi la cucite.

“Through the summons petition filed by Societatea Antena TV Group SA in opposition to the defendants Dumitrescu Florin-Ionuț and the company Pro TV SRL, a request for a presidential ordinance by which it requested that, without summoning the parties, a presidential ordinance be issued by which to oblige the defendants not to broadcast and not to allow the broadcasting of self-promotional audiovisual materials and/or cooking shows and/or of entertainment, including but without being limited to the show “MasterChef” made with the participation of the defendant, in any capacity, until the final settlement of the substantive files with the object of action in ascertainment (…)“, it is stated in the summons petition filed by the heads of the Antennas.

Antena 1 must pay 5,000 euros, court costs.

The decision comes in the context of a wider conflict between Antena 1 and the three famous chefs – Florin Dumitrescu, Cătălin Scarlătescu and Sorin Bontea. The three left the Antena 1 station in the fall of 2023, refusing to film for the 13th season of the Chefi la Cuțite show and later signing with Pro TV for the MasterChef project.

“Antena Group continues to challenge the decisions of the three bosses in court, with several ongoing lawsuits. However, this victory represents an important step for Florin Dumitrescu, marking a crucial moment in the dispute between the two parties”, announces libertatea.ro.
