The Bâlea Lac ice hotel opened this week, and tourists can spend the night in one of the ice rooms it provides. Compared to previous years, this time each room is named after a famous composer or conductor.

The ice hotel at Balea Lac will have 11 igloos, according to Antena 3 CNN.
“This year we have the shape of a beehive and when you think of a honeycomb, the central igloos have a role of transit, because that’s how you get to the outer ones, which have room. This year we have 11 igloos and 11 sleeping rooms, the others being transit”, said Mario Filip, representative of the hotel.
Tourists who visit the hotel for the first time say that they are impressed by the unique construction in the heart of the Făgăraş mountains.
“The first time I arrived here I had never seen anything like this before. It’s an experience worth trying, it’s something unique here. It would be a challenge to sleep here, it’s like you’re afraid you’re on ice”said a tourist.
A night’s accommodation in the Ice Hotel costs between 100 and 150 euros, depending on the room.
