The hosts remained within ten after only six minutes, when even Sepsi’s captain, Florin Ştefan, received a straight red card for a hard foul on Masoero. Being in numerical superiority, the guests did not force an attack and the first clear opportunity appeared only at the end of the first half, in the 45th + 2nd minute, when Denis Ciobotariu rejected Blanuţă’s shot from the goal line.

The Cluj players had another goal, in the 52nd minute, through Chipciu, then followed the double miss in the 83rd minute, at Niczuly’s goal, and in the 85th minute, Lucas Masoero’s goal was disallowed, referee George Găman citing a foul on the goalkeeper.

The match ended in a tie, 0-0 and Cluj University remains the leader, for now, with 37 points, but it can be overtaken by Dinamo. Sepsi OSK is in 6th place, with 30 points, writes news.ro.
