Buses, trolleybuses and trams in Cluj will have a special traffic schedule for Christmas. The Public Transport Company Cluj-Napoca SA has announced the urban and metropolitan transport schedule for the next few days.
On December 24, 2024 – Christmas Eve and December 31, 2024 – New Year’s Eve, urban and metropolitan transport will run between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., according to the schedule for working days;
On December 25, 26 and 29, 2024, respectively January 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7, 2025, urban and metropolitan transport will be carried out between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., according to the Sunday transport schedule.
There will also be suspended lines
On December 25, 2024 and January 1, 2025, the lines to VIVO! Cluj-Napoca (28B and 43P) and the Carrefour special runs will be suspended, with additional transport on lines 24, 28 and 43B. Line 24B will have a special schedule;
On 27 and 28.12.2024 and 3 and 4 January 2025, respectively, urban and metropolitan transport will be carried out between 5:30 and 11:00 p.m., according to the transport schedule for Saturdays;
Additionally, on 27.12.2024 and 03.01.2025, departures will be introduced on lines 26L, 36L, 48L, 50L and 52L to ensure the connection between the neighborhoods and B-dul Muncii, respectively the Emerson area.
On December 30, urban and metropolitan transport will operate between 5:00 a.m. and 11:15 p.m., according to the weekday schedule;
Special program also for night transport lines
The night transport will be carried out between 24.12.2024 and 07.01.2025 between 11:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. (at 1:00 a.m. – the last departures from the ends of the lines) on lines 5N (str. Traian Vuia–P-ta Garii), 25N (Unirii str.–Bucium str.) and 54N (Zorilor cart. – Grigorescu cart.). The exceptions are December 24 – Christmas Eve and December 31, 2024 – New Year’s Eve, when transport will be provided between 10:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Departures will take place every 30 minutes.
