“I said this to Klaus Iohannis looking into his eyes, I said this to Marcel Ciolacu, face to face. I leave it written here, after the Ciolacu 2 Government, changed only here and there, so that nothing changes, was validated in the Parliament. Romania cannot change for the better with the same people pushing the buttons, doing the same things. It simply doesn’t work that way!“, wrote Elena Lasconi, on FB.

According to the USR leader, the citizens “they said by vote that they don’t want them anymore”.

“They combined as they could so as not to lose their influence! Iohannis made another good game for him, harmful for Romania. Next year, we have another chance, at the presidential elections, to show them that they are not eternal! A huge, historic chance that we cannot afford to miss.” Lasconi also said.

Marcel Ciolacu’s government received, on Monday, the Parliament’s vote of confidence, with 240 favorable votes and 143 votes against.

450 deputies and senators were present. During the voting, 383 validly cast votes were registered, of which 240 votes were “foru” and 143 votes against.

Later, the ministers of the new Government took the oath, on Monday evening, in the presence of President Klaus Iohannis, in a ceremony that took place at the Cotroceni Palace.
