Radu Ștefan Bănică, son of the actor Ștefan Bănică Jr., revealed in a podcast produced for the “Association Taci” about the traumatic experiences in school. He says he was humiliated by peers and beaten by teachers.

For Radu Bănică, the bullying started in the third grade, when his classmates signed a petition demanding that he “to disappear”.
“For example, in the 3rd grade I had the anti-Radu petition, signed by the children to make me disappear. I don’t know why. And I remember the subject of money ever since. All they talked about was money, money, money, and I didn’t know what they were talking about, because I didn’t understand. That you have money, that you live in luxury, that you live in a castle. But how do you know where I am or what is happening at my house?“, said Radu Ștefan Bănică.
The most remarkable experience was in the 8th grade, when his Romanian language teacher beat him without his fault.
“The most remarkable for me was in the 8th grade, when I had a very good Romanian teacher. He was mad at us for not doing homework or something and he was very stern. When he punched the table we were all… But I know he came out during class and I wasn’t one of those who didn’t do his homework, I actually did my homework. And I was also sitting in the first bench, he came to me, guys, and I got punched in the stomach! That I’m the reason why he’s leaving, that he looked at me during the speech and I don’t know what.
And I went and hid in the bathroom and the only person who got me out of there was the headmistress. The highlight is that it’s also after bullying, that is, when I went in there and tried to pretend that I didn’t cry at all, even though I had cried until I couldn’t anymore, it was getting worse. Now he was asking me why are you crying, are you a little girl? Well, after 6 punches in the stomach, anyone cries at 13 years old”, told Radu.
He also revealed that he was recently the victim of acts of aggression. “I moved and my car kept getting vandalized: knives in the tires, scratches on the doors and hits on the bumper, front bumper, rear bumper, shots”, said Radu Bănica.
