Marcel Ciolacu claims that the disappearance of the border points with Bulgaria and Hungary is the guarantee that Romanian exports will advance strongly

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu states that Romania’s full entry into the Schengen Area this year “will bring our economy the massive boost it needs to overcome this difficult international context”.

“The fact that we are fully in the Schengen Area this year will bring our economy the massive boost it needs to overcome this difficult international context. The disappearance of the border points on the border with Hungary and Bulgaria represents more than a symbolic moment, but is the guarantee that Romanian exports will advance strongly this year. And this means more money that will enter the accounts of our companies and a solid support for the development of the Romanian economy”, stated Marcel Ciolacu, on Thursday, in a post on Facebook.

He argued that “the total integration of Romania In Schengen it is proof that, when we persistently pursue our great national objectives, we have every reason to succeed”.

“And I believe in our strength to overcome all obstacles together”, Ciolacu transmitted.
