Ianis Hagi, angel and demon for Rangers in the thriller with Hibernian

Coming after a performance crowned with a goal in the derby with Celtic (3-0), Ianis Hagi started perfectly in the Hibernian – Rangers match, which ended 3-3.

The Romanian international contributed decisively to the goal by which the visitors opened the scoring in the 4th minute, when he received a ball on the right side, advanced and passed in front of the goal, from where Igamane fulfilled a simple formality. The same player scored to make it 0-2 a few minutes later and Rangers looked to have sealed the match.

The hosts reduced the difference in the first half and even managed to equalize, following a penalty taken by Ianis Hagi in the 61st minute. The Romanian confused an opposing attacker, who practically hit his leg, but the referee dictated a penalty kick and he was unyielding, to the despair of the international tricolor.

Ianis was substituted 9 minutes later but Rangers took the lead again thanks to Moroccan Igamane who scored a hat-trick. Hibernian equalized 7 minutes before the end, so the game ended with a spectacular 3-3 to which Hagi made his full contribution. He received a grade 7 for his performance from specialist sites.
