Alina, who is married to a Korean, with whom she also has a little girl, posted on TikTok how she celebrated New Year’s Eve, given that all festivities in the country were canceled following the December 29 air disaster, which killed 179 of the dead.

The atmosphere in South Korea is a gloomy one, the country being affected by the worst air accident on its territory, as well as by a major political crisis.

During this complicated period, Alina and her husband, together with other friends, marked the entry into the new year on a tourist boat.

We chose to spend New Year’s Eve in the city of Busan this year. Because the most important moments are with family and friends, we took care to film almost everything“, she said in the video posted on TikTok.

And the boat party was surprisingly affordable. “I chose a tourist boat and paid 100 lei per person. We were several groups, we didn’t rent the boat just us“, she told.

The experience included free snacks and photos provided by the ship’s staff. “The view is fabulous, but you may end up with a headache if you’re seasick“, Alina also told.

Even though New Year’s festivities were canceled following the plane tragedy that hit the country, the sights of Busan impressed tourists. After returning to the beach, the group celebrated with music and champagne.

Due to the tragic accident that happened with the Jeju Air plane, all New Year festivities have been cancelled. So we divided the tasks, the boys went to the gym and us girls went to the store and bought snacks and champagne. We had a good time as only a Romanian knows how, ready to enter the new year joyfully“, Alina stated in her post.

Afterwards, the party continued in the hotel room where they were staying.
