Deputy Adrian Cozma asked in Monday’s PNL meeting that the party ask Klaus Iohannis to resign. Asked if, over the years, Iohannis had critics within the PNL, Bolojan answered: “He had critics, but not from those who criticize him today“.
The PNL president also said that “it’s very simple when someone is at the end of their career to start giving” in that person.
“For me, personally – that these days we had more discussions on these topics of strategy, what to do, how to do it – I would have liked it like, in the past years, when some of the colleagues were just thinking about what someone would want and they anticipated certain wishes and executed them, I would have liked them to have a critical thinking then and when they made all kinds of decisions from the democracy festival and other decisions in the PNL that did not help either our party or the balance in this country, he should have thought better then because it is very easy when someone is at the end of their career to start hitting on someone, especially if you are from the party area that was relatively close in the past years.
