As every year, the students of the final classes will take the simulations of the national exams in the spring. The tests are written and organized exactly as the actual ones will be organized in the summer.

National exams 2025. When do the mocks start
The first to get into the fever of preparations are the 8th grade students who will take the first written exam on March 17. As for the matriculation exam, the simulation of the first written test takes place one week later.
2025 National Assessment Simulation
The simulation of the National Assessment for the 8th grade in 2025 will take place in module 4 of courses and will start on March 17.
The first test is the one written in Romanian language and literature. According to the official calendar, the next tests will take place on March 18 and 19, and the results will be communicated to students on March 31.

- March 18, 2025: Mathematics – written test.
- 19 March 2025: Mother tongue and literature – written test (for students studying in a national minority language).
- March 31, 2025: Communication of results.
The National Assessment Exam for the 8th grade will start on June 23, 2025, with the Romanian Language test. Initial results will be released on July 3, and students will have three days to review the papers before deciding whether to appeal. The Mathematics test is scheduled for June 25, and the mother tongue test will take place on June 27. On July 3rd, the initial results will be displayed, and between July 4th and 5th, appeals will be submitted. The final results will be displayed on July 10.
Baccalaureate 2025 simulation
The simulation of the 2025 Baccalaureate exam will take place in module 4 of courses, starting on March 24, and the results will be communicated to students on April 8.

According to the structure of the school year, 12th grade students finish their courses on June 6, 2025, the school year for them having 34 weeks of classes.
The written tests of the summer session of the 2025 Baccalaureate exam will begin on June 10, four days after the end of classes for students in the 12th and 13th grades.
Registration for the summer session takes place in two stages: the first took place between 16-20 December for the skills tests, and the second will take place between 2-6 June 2025 for the written tests.
National exams 2025. How papers will be assessed
All papers from the mock national exams will be graded digitally. How will it be done, exactly? Papers will be scanned in the classroom, then uploaded to a digitized platform and randomly distributed to teacher evaluators in other counties.
The evaluation of the works is based on the evaluation and marking scale, and the arithmetic mean with two decimal places, without rounding, of the marks awarded by each evaluator is calculated by the IT application on the platform. If the difference between grades is greater than one point, the paper is automatically and randomly sent to two other assessors. The final average cannot be challenged and the results are not entered into the catalog.
