Răzvan Lucescu received clemency in Greece. The call saved him from months of suspension

PAOK Thessaloniki, 4th in the Greek championship, appealed the decision dictated at the end of last year by the Greek Disciplinary Commission and obtained a substantial reduction for its coach, Răzvan Lucescu, 55.

The former coach jumped to beat 3 AEK supporters in the car park after a cup match. He received a 4 month suspension, reduced today by 1 month and 15 days!

It formally and partially admits the appeal of Răzvan Lucescu, coach of the PAOK team, against the decision number 761/2024 of the Disciplinary Commission. Applies to the appellant a) a monetary penalty of ten thousand (10,000) euros and b) the penalty of banning access to the playing field and the locker room for a period of one (1) month and fifteen (15) days”, the Appeal Commission sent, according to metrosport.gr.

During the suspension, the technician is not allowed to sit on the bench or enter the locker room during the break.
