Rapid Bucharest defeated Politehnica Iași with a score of 2-1 (2-1), on Monday evening, in Giulesti, in the last match of the 22nd stage of the football Superleague.

Claudiu Petrila scored both of Rapid’s goals (20 and 40 – the last from the penalty). The penalty kick was awarded after a foul by the Guatemalan Nicolas Samayoa on Cristian Ignat.
The visitors’ goal was scored by Tailson (35). Poli Iași had a goal, to the shot of Andrei Gheorghiță (30), diverted by goalkeeper Marian Aioani.
Poli Iasi has reached seven consecutive stages without a win, two draws and five failures, the last three in a row.
