Salvamont Romania announces a new record of calls and interventions, in a single day. In the last 24 hours, 187 calls requesting emergency intervention were registered, and 140 people were transported to the hospital.

“A new undesirable record for the history of Salvamont Romania! The numbers of the day: 187-190-140… A new day of fire for mountain rescuers from the whole country. In the last 24 hours, the Salvamont National Dispatch received 187 calls requesting the emergency intervention of mountain rescuers“, announces the Salvamont National Dispatch.
16 calls were received for Salvamont Lupeni, 14 calls for Salvamont Prahova, 13 calls for Salvamont Sinaia, 13 calls for Salvamont Alba, 13 calls for Salvamont Harghita, 12 calls for Salvamont Braşov Municipality, 12 calls for Salvamont Predeal, 12 calls for Salvamont Voineasa, 10 calls for Salvamont Sibiu, 9 calls for Salvamont Cluj, 8 calls for Salvamont Neamţ, 7 calls for Salvamont Gorj, 7 calls for Salvamont Borşa, 7 calls for Salvamont Maramureş, 7 calls for Salvamont Braşov County, 5 calls for Salvamont Caraş Severin-Muntele Mic, 4 calls for Salvamont Vatra Dornei, 4 calls for Salvamont Mureş, 4 calls for Salvamont Hunedoara, 3 calls for Salvamont Suceava, 2 calls for Salvamont Bihor, 2 calls for Salvamont Satu Mare, 2 calls for Salvamont Caraş Severin-Semenic and one call for Salvamont Bistrita Nasăud.
“In the case of these interventions, 190 people were saved. Of these, over 140 people arrived at the hospital 58 were transported by the SAJ, SMURD or Salvamont Ambulances for transport to the hospital, 2 people were handed over to the SMURD helicopter for transport to the hospital, and the rest were given permission to be transported by their relatives’ cars“, sent Salvamont Romania, on the Facebook page.
Also, 56 calls were received requesting advice and information about different tourist routes in the mountain area and ski areas.
