Decision in the file regarding the record played by FCSB and CSA Steaua. In the dispute are the performance of 5 years

The High Court of Cassation and Justice (JCCJ) has today decided, February 12, to approve the appeal of the Super League band in relation to the older file of the record in dispute for several years with the Steaua Bucharest Club.

The supreme court has set the trial term for resolving the appeal on June 4, 2025. It is important to specify that the record 1947-1998 belongs to the Steaua Bucharest Club. Now only the period from FCSB is judged.

In October 2023, the Bucharest Court of Appeal decided that CSA Steaua owns the red-blue record from 1947 to 1998, including the 1986 European Champions Cup, and the 1998-2003 period remained “in the air”. FCSB challenged the decision, and the JCCJ admitted the appeal.

Gigi Becali (66 years old), who took over the star in 2003, claims that a new term was set in June and, from his point of view, will return to the decisions so far of the courts. Thus, the FCSB financier was convinced that he will receive the name “Steaua”, the brand and the record.
