The happy owner of the mobile phone is from the United States and is called Karen Green. Long ago, the woman received a gift phone, the first iPhone model launched by Apple in 2007. Because she was not compatible with her telephone network, she never used it and kept it in its original packaging, reports Fonetech .
Finally, Karen Green decided to sell the phone whose initial value was $ 599 and resorted to a tender platform. The amount she obtained on the iPhone was far beyond her expectations, $ 63,356.40.
“We were expecting a serious auction and we were not disappointed”, said Mark Montero, the founder of the LCG Auctions auction platform.
