Constanta Lighthouse is the first qualified team in the semifinals of the Romanian Football Cup, after defeating the Third League band Unirea Alba Iulia with a score of 3-0 (1-0), on Tuesday evening, on their own ground, in Ovidiu, in a match of the quarterfinals.

The goals were scored by Andrei Ciobanu (8), free kick, Ionuț Larie (70 – penalty), and Narek Grigorian (88), from the center of Luca Băsceanu.
The union missed several clear occasions in the first half, through Darius Indrei (21), Ionuț Tanase (34), when Răzvan Ducan rejected the bar, and through Răzvan Pîntea (40).
In min. 69, the referee Răzvan Negară dictated the penalty after consulting the video arbitration, after a duel between Tudor Vomir and Iustin Doicaru.
The lighthouse also had an opportunity through Denis Alibec (90), while the Union passed the Honor through Indrei (84), Patrick Andreaș (90+4) and Alexandru Giurgiu (95).
The semifinals are scheduled on April 23, when the Lighthouse will face the winner between CFR Cluj and Craiova University.
In the superlig, the lighthouse is in the 14th place, which sends to the survival/relegation dam. It has 19 points, after a draw and a failure in the play-out. The last two ranked have 15 (Unirea Slobozia), respectively 13 points (Gloria Buzău),
