The application for registration in the preparatory class is an official document by which the parents or legal representatives request the registration of the child in a school for the next school year. This includes several sections with information about the child, family and chosen educational options.

In the first part of the request, the data regarding the school where the enrollment is desired are completed – whether it is the constituency school, or another family chosen unit. There is a section dedicated to the child, which includes the full name, personal numeric code, date and place of birth, citizenship and home address. It is also mentioned whether or not it has frequented the kindergarten.

The following is requested information about parents or legal guardians-including identification data, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Those who complete the request may indicate the desired teaching language and may request, if necessary, a place for the child in a “school after school” program or in a class with special educational support (if there is a recommendation from a authorized institution).

The request also includes a declaration regarding the consent for the processing of personal data and, optionally, the agreement for the redistribution of the child to another school unit if there are no places available at the first option.

In the end, the copies of the necessary documents (identity documents, birth certificate, medical certificate, etc.) are attached, and the parent signs and dates the request.

Depending on each school, the parents must complete the file with the requested documents that prove the specific criteria of each educational unit, if necessary. These criteria were published by each school until March 7, according to the official calendar.
