Elena Lasconi reacted to the statements of Nicușor Dan on possible negotiations with her and Crin Antonescu for a possible withdrawal of two of the pro-European candidates in favor of the third.

Elena Lasconi rejected, live at Digi24, any possibility of negotiation regarding the withdrawal of candidates in the presidential elections.
“I am not willing because last night I heard him lying again and I am not willing to discuss with Crin Antonescu, because in the last 10 years he has not worked at all. So no, I am not willing to negotiate.”stressed Elena Lasconi, according to digi24.ro.
USR leader said that such a proposal is “A lack of respect for Romanians”.
Lasconi resumed the theme of indirect pressures that would have been made on him to withdraw his candidacy for presidential elections.
“(Nicușor Dan) lied when he said he didn’t know me to go and meet Zuckerman and Ciuca to withdraw and that I never told me to withdraw“, Lasconi said.
The USR candidate said that the meeting did not take place because she refused to participate.

Lasconi also commented on the political relations of Nicușor Dan after re -election as mayor of the capital, stressing that when Nicușor Dan arrived the mayor of the capital for the second time, “The first for which he campaign was Nicolae Ciuca, not me”:
“I am open to the dialogue with absolutely anyone, but I can no longer forget about such an individual. Now it seems to me that the discussions with him are exactly like the ones I carried with Klaus Iohannis.”.
