The county inspectorates have developed an admission brochure for the eighth-grade students, which contains information about the career they could follow according to the profile they are registered. The students find out from this document and the ways of enrollment in the high school, they are offered advice before the exam but also essential data on the structure of the school year.

For the theoretical chain, in the human profile the students can follow two specializations: philology and social sciences. Philology specialization emphasizes “language and communication”, which includes disciplines such as Romanian language and literature, two modern languages and Latin. Students acquire skills in analysis, translation, communication and information interpretation.
Those with skills to foreign languages and literature can be oriented towards careers such as librarian, journalist, guide, translator, secretary, researcher in linguistics, literary critic, worker in advertising, human resources, education, art or religion. Studies can be completed with a deepened foreign language certificate, writes edupedu.ro.
Social sciences focus on the curricular area “man and society” and includes disciplines such as history, geography, logic, psychology, economy and philosophy. Students who prefer activities that involve informing, analyzing and developing the community can pursue careers in social assistance, sociology, psychology, political science, museography, archeology, law or public administration.

July 14 – 21, 2025: Completing options in enrollment sheets by the eighth-grade graduates and by their parents, assisted by the eighth-grade leaders
July 14 – 21, 2025: Introduction to the computerized database (in the centralized computer application) of data from registration sheets
July 14 – 21, 2025: Checking by parents and candidates for the correctness of the data from the computer listed, correction of any mistakes in the computerized database and listing the corrected sheets in the computer, operations that will be performed using the centralized computer application
July 21, 2025: The deadline for transmitting the database from the registration centers to the County Admission Center/of the Municipality of Bucharest, as well as the list of graduates who do not participate in the computerized distribution, by confirming the specific operations in the centralized computer application.
July 22, 2025: Verification and correction of any errors in the databases, such as candidates in the database for computerized admission and which have already been admitted to the high schools, which are held aptitude tests, etc., by the National Admission Commission and the county admission commissions/of the municipality of Bucharest; Transmission of changes to the National Commission
