Asked, at B1 TV, what he thinks about the emissaries sent by Prime Minister Marcel Colacu in the USA, the former head of state said: “It is obvious that we have a prime minister who poorly understands and it is very difficult to learn, although he has been prime minister for about three years. How can you compromise the country to such an extent to announce that you send some emissaries to facilitate Romania’s access to the White House?! So humility greater than that could not be brought by a prime minister”.

Basescu also stated that Ciolacu Uzurpă the duties of the interim president, Ilie Bolojan, because the foreign policy falls within his duties.

On the other hand, practically, he uses the president’s duties. The relationship with other states at the top is held by the president of the country because, therefore, the ambassadors and are sent to the president and not the prime minister. The fact that he assumed made public that he had nominated some emissaries for … It is not very clear for what, but it is simply nominated in a painful situation”, Stated Traian Basescu.

The former president also claims that “All the embassies in Bucharest have already transmitted home that the prime minister no longer uses the Foreign Ministry, no longer uses the ambassador, the relations he has with the United States, but uses a gentleman who has a thousand trucks and has no diplomatic experience, but will gain”.

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on Thursday that he had sent two emissaries to the US, to discuss at Mar-A-Lago with representatives of the Trump Administration

Not possible. First of all, I am very curious about the mandate he could give to the two emissaries he does, without trying to discredit the two emissaries. But from an institutional point of view, I am with something that can be laughed at“Added Basescu.

He warns that the decisions made by Ciolacu could cause more harm to Romania.

The consequences are that we are laughing more and more. Ciolacu is in a discrediting race by the Government of Romania as no other prime minister had“, Băsescu said.

Basescu’s statements were made two days after he and Marcel Ciolacu had a harsh exchange on social networks. After the former president blamed the prime minister for “Multiple crisis“, Ciolacu reacted by naming Basescu a”Ordinary founder“And a”political rebellion”.
