Built in the XIV-XV centuries, during Iancu de Hunedoara, the castle impresses with a combination of architectural styles: Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neogotic. The medieval fortress is in the process of restoration, the works being financed from European funds and scheduled to end until 2027.
