Constanța Lighthouse ended with Unirea Slobozia, 1-1 (1-0), Monday, on its own ground, in a match in the third stage of the play-out phase of the football superligation. The lighthouse opened the scoring through the Armenian Narek Grigorian (42), from Denis Alibec’s pass, but the Ialomites equalized by Croatian Adnan Aganovic (71), a former player at FC Viitorul, with a shot from a return, at a chain stutter of the Constanţa defensive.

Hagi has a common past with Adrian Mihacea. The coach of the Union, nicknamed the “peasant” during the Dinamo period, was thrown into battle, without success, by the “king” in the 2001 Dam, to qualify the World Cup in South Korea and Japan.

At the Flash-interviews after the match, both Gică Hagi and Denis Alibec discussed on the possibility of the Lighthouse, the 2023 champion, to retrograde this season, saying that it is not impossible for this to happen, being really scared by this scenario.
“It would be time not to think about relegation. This is the reality. We need to start winning matches. We have two draws and a failure, it’s not right. Football is unpredictable, you cannot live in the past. It is important to be motivated, to have ambition and motivation to go forward. The football seems easy, but it is not easy. I have to be optimistic“, Said Gică Hagi, 60, at the end of the match at the Black Sea.
“I have no words. We need to go further and fight to save us from relegation. I produced football, but for nothing, if you don’t win. We are in a very bad pass. What to do?! Let’s think about the cup and go to “B”? The championship is the first goal”, Denis Alibec also confessed, 34 years old.
