Revolut introduces tax payments to treasury accounts, directly from the application.

With the help of this functionality, customers natural and legal persons can make bank transfer to the treasury accounts of public institutions, one of the facilities expected by customers who use Revolut as a main bank account. In this way, in addition to the existing modalities on the ANAF site (payment through SPV) or through Ghişeul.ro, customers will be able to make payments directly in the IBAN accounts of financial administrations or to other public entities that charge taxes and taxes or will be able to pay by card to the financial administrations. The taxes that can be collected are those related to the income tax, the payment of the value added tax (VAT), social or health insurance, administrative taxes, etc.“, It is stated in a statement of the bank.

Among the tax payments are: income taxes, VAT and services for services made by state institutions and authorities.

Starting in December 2024, Revolut customers in Romania benefit from local IBANs Revolut, and the branch has become a participant in the local regis and transforest payment systems.
