The Iberian peninsula was hit on Monday, April 28, by a huge current. Laura Cocoi claims that she lived “apocalyptic moments” in Portugal, having to delay her departure from the peninsula.
“I also lived apocalyptic moments in Portugal. Arriving at the airport to return home, I discovered that it was apparently a “current”. Initially, we managed the situation well, but over time, we realized that the problem was much more serious: the flights were canceled, there was no internet, the card payment did not work, we had no cash, the bathrooms were closed, I could not book a car, the phones had no signal … and the list continues. Finally, we managed to get in touch with Mihai, Cosmin’s friend in Romania, who helped us rent a car. A Romanian from there has handed us the car in his “account”, because the computer systems did not work. With the rented car, we went to a supermarket where, to our surprise, we could pay with the physical card”, The star told his Facebook page.
Without having cash money on her and because the card payment did not work, Laura Cosoi “negotiated for almost an hour” with the owner of the villa, which she stayed during the visit to suppress her in the building for one night.
“Then we headed again to Troy, hoping to manage to cross the bachelor, although we had no liquid money and no enough fuel to bypass. It was already night. We negotiated for almost an hour to get back in the villa we had left in the morning, based on the nine nights already spent there. Exhausted, not tanned, stressed and with four children scratchedwho did not understand very well what was happening, I entered the darkness of our villa. As I let my luggage down, an indescribable quietness included me. I was feeling safe again. I closed my eyes, thanked God for being with us and, two minutes later, light was shed. Later, Laura and the family embarked on a plane that took off on Tuesday night towards Romania.
