Ianis Hagi lost his place in Rangers, after the team was taken over by manager Barry Ferguson. After no minute was used in the last stage, for the first time this year, now, the Romanian international was sent to the field in the 65th minute of the match with Celtic, at the score of 1-1.

But the tricolor was injured in the 80th minute, after an opponent in the guest box. He received medical care on the edge of the field, then tried to run, but had to ask for a few moments later. Ianis came out of the extremely nervous lawn, gesturing angrily, accusing knee pain.
This season, Hagi played 24 games in the championship for Rangers, in which he scored 4 goals and offered 5 decisive passes. His accident creates concerns the national staff, in the perspective of matches over a month, from the preliminaries for the 2026 World Cup, with Austria (June 7) and Cyprus (June 10). In the following hours he will be subjected to a medical examination after which he will find out how serious the injury is.
