Oana Sârbu, 56 years old, lives not only on stage, but especially in personal life. The star adopted Alexander in 2009, when the boy was only a few months old. At that time, the artist formed a couple with journalist Robert Turcescu. Together they made the decision to adopt an abandoned child at birth, hoping that they would establish a family.
Even though the relationship between the two ended in 2014, Oana Sârbu remained with Alexander and was a mother in the true sense of the word, dedicating her full attention and love.

Becoming a teenager now, Alexander traces his mother in the footsteps of passion for music. He studies the piano and, even if his professional future is not yet determined, he has the total encouragement of his mother.
“It has a musical ear, skills. That’s why I gave it to the piano, I torment it a little with the daily study, but I don’t think it will do this job. It’s at his choice to do his best”, Said Oana Sârbu in an interview for CANCAN.ro.

For Oana Sârbu, motherhood is the most important role in her life. She became a mother at the age of 40 and believes that her son came exactly when she was ready to receive it.
“My priority in life is the child. God was given to me when I had to, at 40. I am dedicated to him and I hope to be a cool mother. I have a little boy who came exactly when I wanted to be a mother, it does not matter what way. It is an extraordinary world, which I can not describe in words … I want to choose everything for him”, Confessed the artist in a previous interview.
