Video Princess Kate Middleton revealed what was the “sanctuary” in which she took refuge during the treatment against cancer

Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince Willian of Great Britain, confessed that “nature was the sanctuary in which she took refuge over the past year”, during which time she endured preventive treatment by cancer chemotherapy.

In a video clip posted on the X network, in which the princess appears alongside William, the heir to the British Crown, Kate spoke about the importance for her nature, according to Reuters.

“Throughout the last year, nature was my sanctuary,” she said in the video published on the occasion of the week of awareness of mental health.

“The ability of the natural world to inspire us, to take care of us and to help us heal and grow is without borders and has been understood by generations”, Kate said.

A year ago, Princess Kate, 43, made the dramatic announcement that she will undergo chemotherapy treatment, after a series of tests performed after a major abdominal surgery suffered in January.

Kate ended chemotherapy in September and announced earlier this year that she is in remission.

Last month Kate and William visited a beautiful Scottish island to celebrate the 14th anniversary of the royal wedding.

Images from this visit also appear in the clip posted on Monday on X.

“Spring is the season of Renaissance, hope and a new beginning after the dark days of winter, the surrounding world wakes up to a new life and conveys a sense of optimism, anticipation and positive, hopeful change. Just as nature revives and renews, we can. Let us reconnect to nature and celebrate the new dawn in our hearts ”Kate said.
