Two organized crime groups, specialized in the sexual exploitation of several young people, were destroyed, on Wednesday, in the area of Bucharest and Ilfov county.

38 home search warrants were implemented in the area of Bucharest and of Ilfov, Argeș and Buzău counties, in a criminal case with the object of committing the offenses to set up an organized criminal group, trafficking in persons, pimping and money laundering.
According to some judicial sources, members of the piano and pig clans are targeted in the file. So far, investigators have managed to find some of the suspects, from the piano clan. Some of them played bearded when they were caught.
Among those targeted by the investigation are Graţian piano, Elvis Pian or Aly Pian. At the searches, the police discovered large amounts of money, luxury cars, but also other relevant evidence.
The file was constituted ex officio, with no complaints of the victims.
“From the research carried out, it resulted that during 2021, respectively 2023, several suspects initiated and constituted, in the area of Bucharest and of Ilfov county, two organized crime groups, among which collaboration relations have been established, in order to obtain substantial material benefits by sexual exploitation of more young people.”, Reports DIICOT in a statement.
According to investigators, other suspects, predominantly, on the two criminal groups, have adhered on the basis of family relations, who had the role of coordinating the activity of practicing prostitution by several female persons in the territory of different European states.
Women were attracted by the “Loverboy” method
The victims were recruited by the “loverboy” method, by misleading and simulating feelings of love that created emotional dependence. Subsequently, they were transported and housed in different locations in Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Germany, Holland, Denmark, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ireland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, but also from Romania, where “including by acts of psychic and physical constraint were determined to practice prostitution for the material benefit of the suspects”, Reports DIICOT and the Romanian Police.
“In both organized crime groups, created on pyramidal structures, the suspects entered, through the members in the lower echelon, in possession of the amounts resulting from the criminal activity, either by bank transfers, or by the purchase of high value, respectively immovables, luxury cars, clothing and jewelry.“, according to the quoted source.
More than 30 warrants are implemented, and the hearings will take place at the DIICOT headquarters – the central structure.
The action benefits from the support of the police within the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest – Police of Sectors 1-6, Police Brigade for Public Transport, Criminal Investigation Service, Criminal Service, Fighters of the Special Action Service and the Gendarmes of the General Directorate of Gendarmerie of the Municipality of Bucharest and the Group of Prahova.
