The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, said that all 24 hospitals initially included in the National Plan for Redress and Resility (PNRR) can be built. “Yesterday I had a good, very constructive meeting, I say, with the Minister of European Funds, to whom I thank for the excellent collaboration we have in the last period, since we took over the portfolios, and I have found solutions for the continuation of all the projects approved in the PNR.
It is an extraordinarily important information, because, in the end, it is certain to discuss technically, and to evaluate PNRR progress, but I believe that for people and patients, and for the whole system, more important than anything that we have found financial resources to continue all projects initially approved in PNRR. “
Where have been found extra money for Hospitals outside PNRR

I am glad that we have managed to find solutions to cover these costs and we continue, in the end, the projects that will bring for the first time in the last 35 years for the construction of new hospitals ”, concluded the Minister of Health.
“In the National Plan of Redress and Resility, the European Commission indicator was to build at least 19 sanitary units or new bodies of buildings within the existing hospitals.
We approved for financing 24 such objectives, because we expected that part of them to get stuck for N reasons, ”the minister said.

How many yards are open now for promised hospitals
“At the moment there are 15 sites, no 12. I never said 12. There are 15 construction sites, of which 12 are within the term of the PNR, that is, they have the execution contract signed until July 2026.
The other 3 have the execution term exceeded by the term in the PNR, ”Rogobete said.
